ILLINOIS MCLE REQUIREMENT

The
Cycle
The Illinois MCLE reporting period is TWO YEARS and attorneys must report compliance in every other year.

The
Reporting
Every two years from July 1 to JUNE 30 – in even numbered years for those with A-M last names and in odd numbered years for those with N-Z last names.
L
The
Credits
Attorneys must complete THIRTY (30) HOURS of MCLE credit, including at least six (6) hours of professional responsibility (“PR”) credit.
E
Special
Categories
Of the SIX (6) HOURS of PR credit, Illinois attorneys must complete one (1) hour of diversity/inclusion PR credit and one (1) hour of mental health/substance abuse PR credit.
